Pride Month is right around the corner, and we're excited to celebrate QUEER JUSTICE: COLORS OF CHANGE with you! Our festivities will begin at the Oklahoma Contemporary on June 1st, from 6-8 PM for our Opening Ceremonies.
There will be guest speakers, special announcements, information about Pride Month, our Proclamation, and Community. Make sure to join us after the ceremony for our annual Toast to Pride! 🥂 We look forward to seeing you there! 🌈✨

Get ready for an inspiring dialogue at this year's Oklahoma Pride as we proudly announce Susan Stryker as one of our esteemed guests!
A renowned transgender activist and scholar, Susan's impactful work has touched every corner of the LGBTQ+ community. From her pivotal role in directing Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton's Cafeteria, a documentary exploring the 1966 transgender riot in San Francisco, to her influential writings such as Gay by the Bay: A History of Queer Culture in the San Francisco Bay Area, Susan's contributions have both captured and shaped our history.
Susan also co-edited "TSQ: Transgender Studies Quarterly," the first non-medical academic journal centered on transgender issues, setting a groundbreaking platform for scholarly dialogue. Her presence at our festival is an honor and a beacon for ongoing activism, education, and community solidarity.
